Mission is the heartbeat of who we are and it's how we live into God's dream. It might look like packing backpacks full of food for children so they don't go hungry. It might look like helping make sure families don't have to choose between putting food on the table and purchasing basic hygiene items. God's mission is unending and it's the place where pain and hope intersect. It's also where we meet Jesus in unexpected ways. We believe that by connecting with the pain and hope of our community, we can provide life-giving transformation to those around us and be transformed, ourselves, in the process.

About the RISE Mission House
The RISE Mission House is a house that welcomes the entire community. The RISE Mission House hosts (and hopes to host) mentoring programs, tutoring programs, HARTS (Harrisonburg and Rockingham Thermal Shelter), mission camps, the RISE and Shine hygiene ministry, community meals, local mission training programs... and SO MUCH MORE! It's a place that welcomes everyone, and a place that transforms the Harrisonburg community. It also hosts our RISE offices. We're located on the corner of Cantrell Avenue and Mason Street. If you're looking for a place to connect with the pain and possibility of our community, or if you are wondering how God might be calling you to make a difference in this community or this world, please stop by sometime. We would love to greet you, and talk with you about how you can receive love, give love, and repeat!
